Peel fruit and vegetables with hard skins that is normally not eaten, such as oranges, kiwis, melons, bananas, pomegranates, sweet potato and pumpkin.
No need to peel carrots, beetroot, apples, pears, ginger, lemons (in moderation). If covered in soil or sprayed with pesticides – rinse, wash or peel.
Note that certain vegetables like celery, wheatgrass and ginger may cause blockages due to its stringy consistency. Cut in smaller pieces and alternate with harder fruit and vegetables like carrots and apples.
If there is some clogging, rinse screw and juicing bowl.
